Technical Support/Customer Care Specialist – Ft. Myers Florida

Hours/shifts available from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m., 7 days a week at $10.00 per Hour


The Technical Support/Customer Care Specialist is responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as communicating effectively with team members within the customer service department


Primary Responsibilities


  • Personal Responsibility for adherence to assigned work shift; start time, breaks, lunch and shift end
  • Troubleshoot and provide technical support throughout call at times in stressful customer environment. This may require step-by-step instructions
  • Multi-task on phone while accessing computers and multiple computer systems (including hardware/software) to retrieve information, and access/enter data into database or client management system
  • Process Information: Compile and verify information or data from client’s knowledge database
  • First-Call Resolution: Manage and resolve customer issue(s) on initial call
  • Document Information: Enter, record and maintain customer information


Knowledge, Skills, & Experience Requirements

  • Exercise tact and sound judgment when resolving customer issues
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, management, client, and customers
  • Understand and follow detailed oral and written instructions
  • Must retain information quickly and adapt to changing environment
  • Effectively communicate in a clear and concise manner
  • Exercise sound judgment in stressful situations
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment
  • Data entry skills required, must be able to type fast, accurately, with proper spelling/grammar
